Men take that!!

This talk that Driscoll did on the role of Men as loving husbands was crazy!! I was completely blown out of my skin, I have never heard such a blasting at men until this talk.

The Unchurched Next Door

I've just finished reading this book and it was very cool. One thing I really picked up on was a point the author (Thom S, Rainer) made about busyness. He mentions that reaching the unchurched next door should be a high biblical priority. He warns us as Christians to remember in our busyness of serving. We can become so busy and distracted that we can forget the urgency of reaching the lost. Maybe this is one of Satan's best strategies to lapse this very urgent work.

Focus Prayer Meeting

On Tuesday we had our first Focus prayer meeting for this year, it was brilliant. About 11 of us got together in Luke's house and spent 1 and a half hours praying for Focus and related topics. We shared sweet food and I had a Luke espresso that me kept awake half the night :) It reminded me again to take all advantage of our super power God with the act of prayer. Looking forward to the next one! I also got to hear the fantastic news that one of the girls who has been coming to Focus for sometime has decided to become a christian :D :D praise God!!

Cross Roads Forum?

I was thinking about the idea of possibly adding a forum to the Cross Roads website? I reckon it would be cool, for sharing and encouragement.
